By downloading, installing, or using PrixTrip ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, do not use the App. PrixTrip is a social platform designed for commercial motor vehicle (CMV) drivers and trucking professionals.
You must be at least 18 years of age to use PrixTrip. By creating an account, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.
You must provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration (including your name, email, city, state, and date of birth). You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account.
Drivers are responsible for adhering to all State and Federal laws regarding the use of hand-held devices while operating CMVs. PrixTrip is not intended for use while driving. You agree to only use the App when your vehicle is safely parked and stationary. PrixTrip assumes no liability for any accidents, injuries, or violations resulting from App use while driving.
You retain ownership of content you post (text, audio, video, images). By posting, you grant PrixTrip a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, display, and distribute your content within the App. You agree not to post content that is offensive, defamatory, threatening, illegal, or violates any third party's rights. PrixTrip reserves the right to remove content and ban users who violate these terms without prior notice.
PrixTrip uses your device's GPS to provide location-based features including the road updates feed, map features, and friend proximity alerts. Location data is refreshed on app launch and feed refresh. You may disable location services, but this will limit App functionality. When GPS is unavailable, the feed will fall back to chronological order.
PrixTrip offers a free Starter Plan and a paid Pro Plan ($4.97/month). Pro features include extended audio/video messaging, additional photo uploads, message editing, and friend location tracking. Payments are processed securely through Stripe. Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled. You may cancel anytime through your account settings. Refunds are handled in accordance with the applicable app store's refund policy.
Road updates are user-generated and may not always be accurate or current. Temporary category posts expire after 2 hours. PrixTrip does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any road updates. Always verify road conditions through official sources and exercise caution while driving.
You may block any user at any time. Blocked users cannot send you messages, view your posts, or interact with you. You may report users for inappropriate behavior. Blocking a friend will automatically unfriend and then block them. Reports are reviewed by our moderation team.
The PrixTrip name, logo, design, and all associated trademarks are owned by PrixTrip. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the App without prior written consent.
PrixTrip is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Pro Plan in the 12 months preceding the claim.
You may delete your account at any time from the Settings page. PrixTrip reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. Upon account deletion, your personal data will be removed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
We may update these Terms periodically. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. We will notify users of significant changes through the App.
